Manufacturing Area Specialist I

About This Role

Coordinate personnel to meet production schedules, ensure compliance with cGMPs, and optimize manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel to achieve the desired production schedule
• Work closely with training specialists to ensure cGMP compliance
• Serve as the line Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth knowledge of area SOPs
• Analyze present and proposed manufacturing processes and technologies for improvements
• Provide effective day-to-day leadership and oversight for small teams (5 to 25 team members)
• Schedule team members to achieve target turnaround times and production schedule targets
• Partner with training peers to drive team member training
• Spend 50% of production day in manufacturing areas to drive teams and build rapport
• Coordinate required activities with other departments to ensure production schedules are met
• Participate in RCAs, CAPAs, Change Controls, and other process improvements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• SAP experience
• Trackwise and MasterControl experience
• Respirator Clearance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 2 years manufacturing experience required

Nice to Have

• Associate or Bachelor degree
• Lean principle certifications (6 Sigma or otherwise)
• OSHA 10 certification
• Leadership experience
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
