Manpower Analyst with Security Clearance

About This Role

The Manpower Analyst will assist in improving data quality business practices by working across functional boundaries within the human resources division and the Naval Special Warfare Command. The role involves supporting manpower analysis, planning, and reporting activities for the NSWG enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing programs and techniques to improve data quality business practices.
• Work closely with human resources, the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) manpower team, and key personnel.
• Interact regularly with key stakeholders.
• Support a range of manpower analysis studies, planning, programming, and data management efforts for the NSWG enterprise.
• Produce clear and concise reports and correspondence in prescribed formats.
• Coordinate complex scheduling and multi-step processes.
• Develop and manage databases related to manning and talent management for Command-specific programs.
• Perform data analysis utilizing Python, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and other approved methods.
• Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Requirements

• Ten (10) years' experience as a Data Scientist
• Ten (10) years' experience in data analytics conducting research, gathering data, processing, assembling, and analyzing facts, drawing conclusions, effectively fusing results with other information, and developing database solutions to force optimization-related problems.
• Ten (10) years' experience utilizing Excel, Python, Power BI, and other modeling tools and research methods related to data analytics in manning analysis for commercial or government entities.
• Minimum of SECRET level security clearance with the ability to ultimately possess and maintain TOP SECRET/SCI.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years' experience as a Data Scientist with 10 years in data analytics conducting research, data gathering, processing, and analysis specifically related to force optimization and manning.

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated experience with Navy Personnel Command detailing, preferably as a Navy Detailer, Career Counselor, Community Manager or Placement Coordinator.
