SWCC Special Recon Instructor

About This Role

This role involves providing advanced special reconnaissance instruction to Special Boat Teams (SBTs) within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community, focusing on current and emerging SR operations. The instructor will also support schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced special reconnaissance instruction to SBTs related to current and emerging SR operations.
• Assist TRADET-4 with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
• Assist with liaison support with NSWG4 N3 and N8, as well as other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.

Requirements

• Minimum five years' experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC)
• Achievement of SWCC Senior qualification
• 5 years' experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor
• 2 years' experience in NSW Combatant craft signature management and Maritime Special Reconnaissance mission execution
• Familiarity with SIGNATURE MANAGEMENT NTTPs and Combatant Craft specific SOPs
• Background in operation of RADAR, optics and intelligence capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC) with SWCC Senior qualification, 5 years experience as a Navy/NSW Instructor, and 2 years experience in NSW Combatant craft signature management and Maritime Special Reconnaissance mission execution.
