Lead financial due diligence engagements for M&A transactions, analyze financial statements to assess deal drivers, and mentor junior team members for a national professional services firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for M&A transactions
- Analyze historical financial statements and operational trends to assess quality of earnings and key deal drivers
- Prepare, review, and present insightful reports and deliverables to client management
- Manage project timelines, coordinate team efforts, and ensure deliverables exceed client expectations
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory, Audit, or M&A due diligence
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and transaction advisory services
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory, Audit, or M&A due diligence
