This role involves 24/7 accountability for operational and patient care management within surgical services, leading staff and ensuring adherence to ethical principles and quality improvement plans.
Responsibilities
- Assume 24-7 accountability for operational and patient care management of assigned care areas
- Apply leadership and patient care principles in evaluating work performance and outcome standards
- Exhibit behaviors enhancing professional performance and reflecting PSHMC's values
- Promote staff productivity through a defined care delivery system and professional practice model
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the service
- Accountable for the selection and evaluation process of unit staff
- Integrate a performance assessment and improvement plan for the unit/service
- Apply leadership skills and CQI principles on multidisciplinary committees and Nursing Service Councils
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- CNOR
- 3 years Experience in Operating Room or procedural settings
- 2 years Leadership experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- 3 years Experience in Operating Room or procedural settings and 2 years Leadership experience.
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree Nursing
