About This Role

Establish governance frameworks and roadmaps for Maintenance & Inspection programs to improve and manage governance responsibilities, helping to build a future with cleaner energy and reduce carbon emissions.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of critical regulatory and legislative initiatives to facilitate the execution of the strategic plan
  • Identifies system risks and evaluates risk reduction benefits of proposed mitigation strategy projects in the capital investment strategy
  • Leads the development and management of Asset strategies for programmatic investment decisions
  • Evaluates SCE's enterprise level risks and provides suitable mitigation options to senior management
  • Provides strategic and regulatory analysis for the company, specifically including competitive positioning, price forecasting, financial analytics, and regulatory planning scenario evaluations
  • Provides analyses, evaluation and management recommendations on key strategic initiatives
  • Ensuring the protection of all physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of experience in strategic planning, setting strategies at the department or organization level

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field
  • Ten or more years of experience in strategic planning, setting strategies at the department or organization level.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Broad knowledge of SCE Maintenance & Inspections Programs and manuals (Distribution Maintenance & Inspection Program – DIMP, Transmission Inspection & Maintenance Program – TIMP, and Maintenance Inspection Manual – MIM)
  • Broad knowledge of CPUC rules and regulations (CPUC General Order 95, 128, 165, 174 etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to adjust/tailor messaging with the appropriate audience, including executive leadership
  • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to improve customer happiness and efficiency, lead risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers
