Maintenance Engineer Rover

About This Role

The Maintenance Engineer Rover is responsible for assisting in overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems across multiple commercial, industrial, and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration storage equipment at multiple locations
• Log time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily
• Oversee and manage Refrigeration, Electrical, and HVAC systems including monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Evaluate and report equipment condition
• Complete small electrical repairs and brazing projects
• Communicate pertinent information regarding system operation and maintenance to departmental management
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanup of refrigeration machine rooms and project areas
• Interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, and operating manuals
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring in HVAC equipment
• Perform various non-refrigeration tasks like facility, light carpentry, light plumbing, and minor electrical device repair
• Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, safe working order
• Manage and document completed work orders in the system

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of related experience or education
• EPA 608 certification
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
