Lead a maintenance crew, ensuring efficient operation of landscaping equipment and effective communication within the team. This role serves clients throughout central Ohio, contributing to landscape design and outdoor environment management.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial mowing and maintenance equipment including riding mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, stick edger, chain saw, and gas hedge sheers
- Identify weeds in landscape beds and planting areas
- Work extended hours, weekends, and during inclement weather
- Communicate effectively with crew leader and follow instructions
- Perform physical tasks including prolonged periods of walking, stretching, bending, kneeling, and lifting at least 50 lbs
- Conduct digging, raking, planting, and operating various types of power equipment/lawn mowers
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Working knowledge of commercial mowing and maintenance equipment
- Ability to identify weeds
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and during inclement weather
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
