Machine Operator

About This Role

Operate and maintain blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, ensuring the production of quality bottles and troubleshooting process problems. This role contributes to continuous improvement and adheres to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to ensure production of quality bottles
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line
• Perform bottle inspections, audits, weights, and quality checks
• Immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues
• Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with customer requirements
• Prepare and document daily production reports
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs
• Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies
• Keep the work area clutter free, clean, and organized

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer experience
• Blow mold experience or machine operating experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
