Operate and maintain blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, ensuring the production of quality bottles and troubleshooting process problems. This role contributes to continuous improvement and adheres to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to ensure production of quality bottles
- Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line
- Perform bottle inspections, audits, weights, and quality checks
- Immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues
- Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed
- Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with customer requirements
- Prepare and document daily production reports
- Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs
- Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies
- Keep the work area clutter free, clean, and organized
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer experience
- Blow mold experience or machine operating experience
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
