Locum Physician Otolaryngology

About This Role

This locum physician role involves providing general otolaryngology care and performing surgical procedures for 26-30 patients per shift, including call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide general otolaryngology care
• Perform surgical procedures
• Conduct endoscopic procedures including bronchoscopy and laryngoscopy
• Execute septal and sinus procedures
• Perform tracheotomy procedures
• Manage call coverage from 7 am - 7 pm
• Handle approximately 3 phone consults per day while on call
• Manage 1-2 admissions while on call

Requirements

• Ability to cover Monday - Friday 7:40 am - 5 pm with call coverage 7 am - 7 pm
• Experience with general otolaryngology and surgical procedures
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures including bronchoscopy and laryngoscopy
• Competence in septal and sinus procedures
• Ability to perform tracheotomy procedures
