Locum Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology

About This Role

Serve as a Locum Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology in San Antonio, TX, managing a high volume of patients and deliveries, including low and high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities

• Work Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with 7-10 call days per month
• Manage 25-30 patients per shift with 200 deliveries annually
• Provide low and high-risk pregnancy management
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds
• Perform routine and vaginal deliveries
• Make c-section decision-making and low forceps deliveries
• Handle 5 phone consults and see 5-15 patients per call

Requirements

• Low and high risk pregnancy management experience
• OB ultrasounds performance and interpretation
• Routine and vaginal delivery skills
• Low forceps delivery and c-section decision-making skills

Nice to Have

• Level II ultrasounds experience
• Amniocentesis experience
