Locum Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology

About This Role

Provide Obstetrics and Gynecology services as a locum physician. Manage high and low risk pregnancies, perform deliveries, and conduct surgical gynecology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide call-only coverage with 24-hour shifts Friday through Monday
• Manage 0-5 deliveries per shift and 0-10 patients per 24 hours
• Perform low and high risk pregnancy management
• Conduct OB ultrasounds Level I and II
• Carry out routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections
• Perform surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Manage VBAC procedures and multiple births
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

Requirements

• Experience with high and low risk pregnancy management
• Proficiency in OB ultrasounds Level I and II
• Ability to handle routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections
• Experience with surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Experience with VBAC procedures and multiple births
• Skill in repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
