Locum Physician Gastroenterology

About This Role

This locum position is for a Physician specializing in Gastroenterology for both inpatient and outpatient care, including various endoscopic procedures. The role includes opportunities for professional growth and support from Weatherby Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Manage a call response time of 30 minutes
• Handle a call ratio of 1/8
• Treat 12 patients per shift
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient care
• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
• Conduct ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Execute Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Perform Endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy

Requirements

• Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes
• Experience with Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
• Experience with ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Experience with Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Experience with Endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy
