Locum Physician Gastroenterology

About This Role

Provide gastroenterology services as a locum physician, managing both inpatient and outpatient care, performing endoscopies and colonoscopies, and rounding on inpatients.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
• Manage 20 patients per shift
• Deliver hospital setting care including inpatient and outpatient services
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, and colonoscopy with biopsy
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes
• Round on inpatients

Requirements

• Ability to handle 20 patients per shift
• Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, and colonoscopy with biopsy
• Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes
• Experience with inpatient rounding

Nice to Have

• Experience with PEG procedures
