Loan Processor I

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and funding of auto loans, providing excellent service to dealers, credit unions, and members by vetting documentation and following up on missing items.

Responsibilities

• Review and quality control contracts from dealers to ensure policies and procedures are followed
• Follow up with dealers to collect missing items or stipulations
• Send completed loan packages to appropriate credit unions for final funding and/or complete funding on their behalf
• Work to foster and enhance teamwork within the organization, providing high-quality products and services
• Consistently promote and model the culture and values of Origence, demonstrating aligned behaviors

Requirements

• Minimum of two years office experience working in an auto/lending service environment
• Solid understanding of lending and loan processing procedures
• Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, and analytical skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and established goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent attention to detail with a high accuracy rate

Qualifications

• High School education required
• Minimum of two years office experience in an auto/lending service environment.

Nice to Have

• Minimum of two years Credit Union processing experience
