This role is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who desires control over their work schedule and income by bidding on per diem shifts at various healthcare facilities. The nurse will administer medication, observe patients, and perform diagnostic procedures to ensure patient comfort and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment
- Observe patients
- Perform specific procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs, measuring and recording weight and height, and running other diagnostic tests
- Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid LVN license in the state of Texas
