Lead Data Engineer

About This Role

Design and manage enterprise-grade data architectures within OneLake and DeltaLake, ensuring data quality and lineage through robust Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers. Architect sophisticated Power BI Semantic Models for high performance and develop complex DAX measures to standardize business logic.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise-grade architectures within OneLake, DeltaLake serving as the single system of record
• Implement robust Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers using Lakehouses and Warehouses to ensure data quality and lineage
• Architect sophisticated Power BI Semantic Models using Direct Lake mode for near-instant performance on large datasets
• Develop complex DAX measures and Calculation Groups to standardize business logic (e.g., time intelligence, currency conversion) across the organization
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL across distributed data environments
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to define Databricks architecture
