About This Role

The Lead Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides psychosocial assessments, counseling, information, and referral services to inpatients and outpatients, while collaborating with medical and paramedical staff. This role also oversees daily operations and trains Clinical Social Workers, helping to ensure timely professional services for patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments, counseling, information, and referral to inpatients and outpatients and their families
• Work collaboratively with medical and paramedical staff
• Oversee the daily work operation of the Clinical Social Workers
• Train staff as needed
• Provide input regarding personnel management for the Case Management department
• Ensure timely delivery of supportive professional services to patients, families, and hospital staff

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work
• California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire
• 5 years of experience as a Master of Social Work
• 4 years of experience in a health care setting

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work.
• 5 years of experience as a Master of Social Work; 4 years of experience in a health care setting.

Nice to Have

• 4 years of Supervisory/management experience in a social agency
