Landscape Technician

About This Role

This role is for a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to maintain stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. It involves routine landscape maintenance, light construction, and operations of landscaping equipment, with regional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)
• Execute mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment
• Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck, typically 10 days per month

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally
• Minimum 21 years of age due to DOT interstate transportation requirements
• Valid driver's license
• Safe driving record
• Reliable method of transportation
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e., bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.)
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred

• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials
