The Landscape Gardener maintains assigned facilities' landscaped areas, roads, and parking lots, ensuring grounds are safe and pristine. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks and requires knowledge of landscaping practices and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance activities and improvement projects at customer locations
- Mow lawns, trim hedges and shrubs, maintain overall appearance of landscape vegetation and grounds
- Apply fertilizer, weed killer, and necessary pesticides, pull weeds, and maintain flower beds
- Pick up trash, leaves, and provide a clean and neat appearance of the grounds
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure that vegetation is properly irrigated
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of experience in landscaping is preferred
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance standards and techniques, materials, and the safe and proper use of chemicals
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Effective written communication skills
- Human relations skills
- Effective customer service skills
