Lab Technician

About This Role

Perform in-process, final, and retain sample testing for prepolymers, curatives, and crop products. This role involves operating and maintaining analytical equipment and ensuring quality control for raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final and/or retain sample testing for prepolymers, curatives and crop products
• Calculate adjustments for in-process batches for all products
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment including HPLC, GC, Auto Titrators, Viscometer, Particle Size analyzer, Karl Fisher
• Perform testing on retain samples for shelf life extension or root cause investigation
• Enter data into LIMS and SAP
• Approve incoming raw materials based on COA results and necessary test(s)
• Prepare batch tickets for conventional and Low Free urethane products
• Maintain laboratory functions such as stocking chemicals, disposing of waste, washing glassware, shipping samples and maintaining a clean laboratory environment

Requirements

• Experience with HPLC, GC, titration, viscosity
• Knowledge of chemistry
• Experience as a laboratory technician
• Data entry skills
• Familiarity with LIMS and SAP
• Understanding of raw materials and quality control (COA)
• Ability to multi-task
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication skills

• Associate degree in Science
