The Knowledge Coordinator will assist with the maintenance of a law firm's knowledge management products, including document repositories and an experience management system. This role involves data entry, data cleanup, and research to ensure the integrity and accuracy of knowledge resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of the content and configuration of the practice intelligence system
- Configure fields, reports, workflows, and triggers for data collection within the practice intelligence system
- Complete data entry for new records (e.g., adding data to client profile pages)
- Conduct research on Firm matters to locate missing information or verify data to maintain accurate records
- Cross-reference data to ensure accuracy, non-duplication, and resolve discrepancies
- Upload and maintain document repositories along with relevant metadata
- Build sites, pages, and libraries on SharePoint to display practice content with Knowledge Specialists
- Monitor the Knowledge Management Resources inbox and respond to attorney requests
- Provide support for "how to" questions and technical questions for KM resources
- Enter client data into client-facing proprietary tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters
- Strong technical skills and aptitude
- Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred; law firm Knowledge Management preferred
