Join Woodlands Nursing Home as a Kitchen Assistant, supporting meal preparation and maintaining kitchen hygiene for older adults and individuals with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals as requested
- Provide for dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies, temperatures, and schedules
- Ensure relevant standards for health and safety are met in the kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained
- Report any faulty equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience of food preparation and kitchen support duties
- Food hygiene certificate
- Caring and friendly demeanor
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
Qualifications
- Previous experience of food preparation and kitchen support duties is required
