Supervise and care for children in the Kid's Zone, ensuring a safe, clean, and interactive environment for children ages 6 months to 12 years. This role involves direct childcare, customer service for parents, and administrative duties related to child check-in/out.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Kid’s Zone is running a safe, clean, and well-maintained area of the club
- Ensure the Kid’s Zone team follows company expectations of being on time and in uniform
- Ensure a safe and interactive atmosphere for children in the Kid’s Zone
- Administer activities in a professional and appropriate manner
- Follow all Kid’s Zone policies and procedures
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding parent/guardian management
- Supervise activities of all assigned children and ensure they remain in designated area
- Provide childcare including paging parents for discipline issues or personal needs
- Participate and entertain children with games or other approved activities
- Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy
- Ensure parents receive Kid's Zone Policies and Procedures and complete Child Information Card
- Report any incidents, member complaints, or child health concerns to club management
- Perform general cleaning duties in Kids Zone including disinfecting toys
- Ensure parent/guardian has signed Kid’s Zone Child Information Card
- Verify individuals checking-in or checking-out children are listed on the Child Information Card and check-in system
- Ensure parent/guardian scans Key Tag or signs manual sign sheet when checking in and checking out children
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Patience in dealing with children and members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Energetic and Friendly
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6-12 month’s child care experience preferred
Nice to Have
- 6-12 months child care experience with infants, toddlers, and children ages 6 months up to 12 years of age
Certifications
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
