The JM FOIA Analyst will review, assess, and respond to public and official requests for classified and sensitive ODNI information under FOIA, PA, or MDR. This role involves delivering training, ensuring ODNI compliance, and contributing to annual compliance reports while strictly enforcing privacy laws. The Analyst will primarily support a federal government client.
Responsibilities
- Respond to public and official requests for review and release of classified and sensitive information under FOIA, PA, or E.O. 13526 MDR
- Prepare high-quality and error-free documents, coordinating with appropriate organizations for subject matter expert (SME) review and equity reviews
- Develop and deliver training, or review and update current training content on FOIA and privacy processes and policy to customer staff
- Proofread and peer review artifacts from other members of the contract staff, ensuring deliverables are timely, accurate, and error-free
- Document and maintain SOPs for all activities within IRRG
- Engage with customer and IC Working groups, such as the IMC and Difficult Issues Forum, as directed by the Government
- Author, develop, comment on, or update interagency issuances on complex topics using clear and concise language
- Track and update the status of cases in a timely and accurate manner using customer tools
- Provide inputs to annual compliance reports as directed by the Government
- Assist various organizations to ensure customer compliance with all aspects of FOIA/PA/MDR
- Execute duties of the on-site Key Personnel Team Lead, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring sufficient contractor support
Requirements
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
- BS/BA + 3 years of experience or no degree + 9 years of experience
- Experience responding to FOIA, PA, or MDR requests for classified and sensitive information
- Experience ensuring cleared information is available for public inspection/downloading
- Experience enabling enforcement of access rights to records subject to statutory exemptions
Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent
- BS/BA + 3 years of experience required or 9+ years of experience without a degree. Requires experience responding to public and official requests for classified/sensitive information under FOIA, PA, or MDR.
