The Janitorial Site Manager oversees daily janitorial operations for client facilities, leading and scheduling crews, executing cleaning plans, and upholding professional standards. This role drives quality through inspections, proactive client communication, and team management to exceed expectations while managing staffing and labor efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage janitorial crew
- Maintain cleaning quality control programs required by Client
- Operate independently and efficiently without daily supervision, remaining flexible due to operational shift requirements
- Ensure the quality of cleaning service exceeds Client's expectations through inspections, customer relations, and consistent Client communications
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all dealings
- Recruit, mentor, and provide training to employees to achieve cleanliness of Client facility
- Schedule staff/tasks accordingly and within Client’s hour allotment
- Ensure employee compliance with professional attire and uniform policy
- Manage workload labor and retune when necessary to cover absenteeism, vacations, leave
- Organize and execute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning tasks with written plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in janitorial or floor care industry
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Clear communication skills
- Able to multi-task
Qualifications
