This IPM Team Lead role involves overseeing integrated pest management in cultivation, performing preventative maintenance, identifying pests and pathogens, and leading a small team of IPM associates.
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of pests and pathogens
- Acquire proficient knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options
- Carefully track each plant from clone to flower to harvest and ensure all plants are pest free
- Conduct air quality checks and submit cultures to a lab for identification
- Responsible for scheduling all tasks for the IPM department
- Provide direction to a small team of IPM associates throughout the shift
- Follow Parallel Policies & Procedures for daily operations and comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- Work closely with the IPM Supervisor on all elements of integrated pest management
- Observe and record data on IPM test trays
Requirements
- Age 21 or over
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Ability to focus and be task oriented and manage stress
- Proficient with measurements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of IPM experience or 1 year of professional landscape, nursery, or growing operations experience preferred.
