Inventory Coordinator

About This Role

This role supports inventory control operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, enabling efficient production and accurate data for ordering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Verify the receipt, proper count, storage, kitting, and distribution of inventory, with clear communication to departments
• Support inventory control efforts across the organization
• Ensure all items are received and stored correctly
• Pull and organize component parts to meet production demands efficiently
• Keep management informed of stock inflow and outflow
• Provide accurate inventory data to Supply Chain to inform ordering decisions
• Review and count stock to maintain inventory balance
• Identify and resolve issues within the inventory system to enhance production performance
• Monitor and expedite orders to meet manufacturing demands while supporting quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Verify receipt of items by comparing them against the packing list
• Keep inventory records organized and accessible
• Prepare Finished Goods inventory for shipment
• Utilize an inventory management system effectively

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management, stockroom, or a related role
• Strong skills in Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sharp analytical mind
• Exceptional organizational skills
