This internship offers students pursuing an academic degree an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by defining and documenting process parameters, supporting product development design, and quantifying actions for scrap reduction. The intern will work on projects, receive job-rotation, and hands-on training, gaining exposure to Schaeffler's manufacturing and technological processes.
Responsibilities
- Define and document process parameters
- Support design efforts for product development
- Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction
- Work independently and be open to instruction
- Participate in projects, job-rotation, and hands-on training
- Understand current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to achieving quality objectives
Requirements
- Must be pursuing an academic degree
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move thirty pounds
- Authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
