Formulate and define system scope and objectives, and develop and modify software to address complex healthcare business, patient care, regulatory, and medical research problems.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives
- Develop and modify procedures and software to solve complex healthcare business, patient care, healthcare regulatory, and medical research problems
- Perform software development tasks
- Handle software implementation
- Provide application maintenance and troubleshooting
- Manage software upgrades and testing
- Perform custom report writing
Requirements
- Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages
- One year of experience Visual Basic
- Experience in one or more of C#, Visual Studio, PHP, ASP, or other web-based programming language
- One year of relational database experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL or Oracle
- Client/Server programming expertise
- Internet application programming expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work closely and effectively with co-workers and end-users
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information management systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study
- 3 years of computer programming experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with an Associate's, or 7 years with a High school diploma.
