About This Role

This Interim Obstetrics Nurse Manager role offers a meaningful opportunity to lead a women's health program during a pivotal time, providing both clinical and managerial support in a high-performing acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing hands-on clinical and managerial support during periods of increased census or acuity
• Support evidence-based practice and reinforce AWHONN, ACOG, and Joint Commission standards
• Mentor staff through changing demands
• Manage staffing, daily assignments, productivity, and resource allocation
• Partner closely with physicians and leadership to maintain quality and safety
• Oversee a busy Labor & Delivery service with approximately 40 L&D rooms, supporting high-risk pregnancy care and a Baby-Friendly program

Requirements

• Experienced Labor & Delivery RN leader

Qualifications

• Experienced Labor & Delivery RN leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves
