About This Role

Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel across two assigned units, ensuring direct resident care adheres to state, federal, and corporate guidelines. This role involves training staff, managing conflicts, and contributing to resident care planning.

Responsibilities

• Utilize expertise in the leadership role as a manager of two assigned units
• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care in adherence to state, federal and corporate guidelines
• Participate in the training and supervision of nursing personnel
• Utilize effectively the general principles of leadership and supervision
• Manage conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills
• Act calmly and efficiently in handling emergency situations
• Prepare daily assignment of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks
• Attend and participate productively in the resident care meetings, staff meeting and in-services
• Take an active role in teaching (formal or informal presentation) with residents, families and staff

Requirements

• Current valid Registered Nurse license issued in the state of practice

Nice to Have

• Infection Control Experience
• Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing
• Experience in supervisory capacity
