This full-time Intake Worker position serves as the first point of contact for individuals, couples, or families seeking mental health services, providing initial evaluations and crisis intervention as needed.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and provide initial evaluations for individuals requesting mental health services
- Screen requests for service
- Provide crisis intervention if warranted
- Conduct in-person psychosocial evaluations to present to the clinical team
- Assist clients in accessing mental health services and other relevant community resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a human service field
- Successful completion of an FBI Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance
