Install insulation (blow-in and batt) in exterior walls and ceilings for various construction projects. This role involves loading materials, working at heights, cutting and installing insulation, and helping to maintain job site safety.
Responsibilities
- Load and log materials onto a truck
- Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed
- Cut insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
- Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
- Drive a company vehicle, following all driving rules and DOT requirements (if required)
- Observe job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets in the vehicle
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using standard hand tools
- Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees
- Able to stand for extended periods
Qualifications
- Entry level with installation experience a plus
