Installation Engineer

About This Role

This role involves traveling to customer sites throughout North America to install and troubleshoot industrial robots and heavy-duty equipment. The Installation Engineer will also be responsible for managing equipment inventory and working with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to support the installation and troubleshooting of robots in the field
• Install and troubleshoot heavy duty equipment
• Take detailed inventory of the equipment
• Interface with customers and team members
• Understand and read mechanical prints and schematics to determine the process of installing the robot

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience installing machines, robots, heavy duty equipment, or related
• Robot troubleshooting and programming background with Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, or related
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints and schematics (mechanical most important)
• Comfortable with a heavy travel position (up to 80% across North America, Canada, Mexico)
