About This Role

Perform inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products for a global healthcare leader focused on advancing treatments for cardiovascular disease.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures
• Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures
• Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system
• Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, and Company policies
• Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
• Support all Company initiatives as identified by management in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Two years experience working in inspection, or related field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 years experience working in inspection, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with optical measurement equipment
• Experience with hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing
• Training in blueprint reading
• Experience with inspection sampling techniques
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO 13485
• Good communication skills
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
