Inpatient Coder

About This Role

Process and code a variety of inpatient cases, including complex ones like transplants and cardiology, within an academic medical center or acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient cases across a spectrum of specialties including transplants, vascular, cardiology, and neuro.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of inpatient coding experience
• Experience in an academic medical center or acute care hospital
• CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification
• Proficiency with Epic EHR

Qualifications

• 3-5 years, ideally 5 years, of inpatient coding experience specifically in academic medical centers or acute care hospitals.
