About This Role

Landstar is seeking an Independent Sales Agent to build and manage their own freight agency, providing sales and operational services to clients across various transportation modes. This role leverages Landstar's extensive network, tools, and technology to expand reach and secure new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage your own freight agency with Landstar’s full support
  • Provide sales and operational services to clients across multiple transportation modes
  • Leverage Landstar’s tools, technology, and network to expand your reach and say “yes” to more opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transportation or logistics (e.g., Freight Broker, Agent, Dispatcher, LTL Sales, National Account Sales)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for customer service and freight solutions
  • Strong understanding of freight markets and carrier relationships
