This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, modifying, and performing routine and emergency repairs on all electrical/electronics and associated mechanical equipment in a specified area for Sunoco LP.
Responsibilities
- Takes immediate measures in emergency situations to protect the safety of the public and the company’s assets
- Performs physical labor related to maintenance of large pumps, motors, and valves
- Follows established procedures for lock-out/tag-out to assure safety
- Maintains, makes repairs to and operates equipment for pump stations, pipeline control centers, product terminals and related facilities
- Assists with the operation and evaluation of cathodic protection systems
- Assists in the construction and modification of facilities
- Informs and enforces company rules and regulations on outside pipeline companies and contractors
- Works weekends and responds to 24-hour on call
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
- Eligibility to acquire/hold a valid TWIC card
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be alert and drive excessive miles daily
- Ability to manage time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or graduate of a technical school preferred.
- 0-5 years of related experience, one year preferred.

- Knowledge of systems including: Allen Bradley equipment, Omni flow computers, John Zinc systems, Factory Talk software, Siemens equipment and Systronics systems
- Motor Operated Valve (MOV) calibration and repair experience
- Tubing and fitting installation and repair experience
- Calibration and repair of temperature, level, pressure, meter and prover instrumentation experience
- Working knowledge of medium and low voltage systems (480VAC)
- High power system experience
