ICU - Clinical Nurse

About This Role

This role involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within the intensive care unit at Christian Hospital. The nurse will educate patients and families, promote patient safety, and collaborate with an interprofessional team.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment
• Educate patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including home care needs and medication administration
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care
• Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's
• Current RN license

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's
• No Experience
