The Hydrovac Truck Operator supports the repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and reconditioning of distribution pipelines. This role involves safely spotting utilities using hydro-excavation and adhering to DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely spot utilities by use of hydro-excavation
- Complete pre-trip on the vehicle at the beginning and end of each day
- Follow DOT regulations and weight restriction laws
- Travel within the area as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of hydrovac experience
- Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
- Mechanical Knowledge
- Must be willing to work outside in the elements
- High level of personal integrity and accountability
- Current DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one upon employment
- Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local customer’s operator qualifications
