Human Resources Manager

About This Role

Manage human resources operations for Sodexo's food and beverage teams at Miami Dade International Airport, supporting an employee base of 150-300 employees. This role involves onboarding, compliance, recruitment, and acting as an HR liaison.

Responsibilities

• Oversee airport badging process for new hires
• Support new hire orientation facilitation, set-up and logistics
• Onboarding
• Run compliance reports
• Maintain and distribute employee training/communications
• Assist with career fairs and hiring events/recruitment
• Share employee benefits information with new hires and direct them accordingly
• Complete I-9 forms and other employee file documentation
• Set up employee direct deposits
• Engage with potential candidates and represent Sodexo as an employer of choice
• Collect union statements/corrective actions for the Senior Human Resources Manager
• Address payroll issues
• Function as the HR liaison between operations and senior HR

Requirements

• Prior human resources management experience supporting an employee base of 150-300 employees
• Understanding of labor laws, compliance, performance management and talent acquisition
• Strong attention to detail and leadership with a proactive mindset
• Ability to communicate with both employees and stakeholders
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years management experience
• Minimum 1 year HR experience

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of management experience; 1+ year of HR experience, supporting an employee base of 150-300 employees

Nice to Have

• Ability to communicate in Spanish
• Experience within restaurants, hospitality or the travel industry
