The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR Manager in implementing personnel policies, practices, and programs for a business segment. This role is crucial for assisting with recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance activities within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to administer and interpret personnel policies, practices, and programs
- Assist senior management with organizational development, job structuring, and reporting procedures
- Coordinate recruitment efforts including interviewing, screening, and onboarding new employees
- Conduct new employee orientation sessions and analyze turnover data to recommend retention strategies
- Support staffing requirements by participating in workforce planning and sourcing qualified candidates
- Act as a consultant for training and development initiatives, arranging or conducting relevant programs
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions
- Maintain a visible presence across all shifts and departments to foster engagement and understanding of business priorities
- Develop, recommend, and administer wage and salary programs, including job evaluations and market surveys
- Assist with performance review processes, supporting leadership in identifying growth potential and succession planning
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive approach with strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
