About This Role

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR Manager in implementing personnel policies, practices, and programs for a business segment. This role is crucial for assisting with recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance activities within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to administer and interpret personnel policies, practices, and programs
  • Assist senior management with organizational development, job structuring, and reporting procedures
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including interviewing, screening, and onboarding new employees
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions and analyze turnover data to recommend retention strategies
  • Support staffing requirements by participating in workforce planning and sourcing qualified candidates
  • Act as a consultant for training and development initiatives, arranging or conducting relevant programs
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions
  • Maintain a visible presence across all shifts and departments to foster engagement and understanding of business priorities
  • Develop, recommend, and administer wage and salary programs, including job evaluations and market surveys
  • Assist with performance review processes, supporting leadership in identifying growth potential and succession planning

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive approach with strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting
