This HR Assistant supports human resources operations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The role ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist HR with supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Assist with preparing and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records
- Support HR related training
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Requirements
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to perform tasks quickly
- Familiar with employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency
- Ability to handle adverse situations and/or tight time deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency
- 3+ years of HR experience
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Knowledge of ADP
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
