Host/Hostess

About This Role

This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and assisting with table turnover to ensure a positive dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner at the Hostess podium
• Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Introduce guests to their server
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately setting guest expectations
• Clear, clean and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
• Sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
