About This Role

The Hospital Transformation Project Coordinator supports business continuity and operations transition for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. This role involves documenting processes, conducting analysis, managing project logistics, and monitoring project goals to ensure a superior patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with project managers to improve efficiency and implement related programs or initiatives
  • Coordinates and prepares a wide range of logistic support throughout the project
  • Supports project teams in structuring work and agreed upon key deliverables, tracks project completion status and updates teams on key deliverables
  • Updates and maintains databases with documents and other relevant project materials
  • Analyzes data as necessary throughout the course of the project
  • Supports work that enhances the patient experience
  • Creates and maintains data dashboards and PowerPoint presentations for project progress
  • Creates process maps to display current state and future state workflows and supports workflow project documentation
  • Serves as a resource to identify and research best practices, benchmarking data and other supporting documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • Knowledge of LEAN, 5S
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
  • Ability to handle complex projects
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and interpret results
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
