Provide services related to delivering materials to internal customers and contractors, including material handling, loading/unloading, transportation, and general warehouse functions, utilizing various heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to local internal customers and contractors
- Perform material handling, loading/unloading, and transportation duties
- Execute general warehouse functions
- Operate tractor/trailer, truck mounted cranes, forklifts, and other power industrial equipment
- Move and operate job site trailers and transport cranes and piggyback forklifts
- Operate various types of equipment to provide job site support to crews
- Maintain and inspect equipment for proper working order
- Identify materials/equipment to be loaded/unloaded
- Ensure manifest matches truckload and vehicle meets all DOT regulations
- Haul and handle hazardous materials (lead, asbestos, PCB's, etc.)
