Healthcare Technical Writer

About This Role

This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining clear, user-focused documentation for business and operational applications in the healthcare sector. The specialist will translate complex systems and processes into easy-to-understand documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and maintain user guides, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), job aids, and other operational documentation
• Translate complex workflows and systems into clear, step-by-step instructions
• Develop documentation for applications built on platforms such as Salesforce
• Update training materials and presentations (no training delivery required)
• Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and Business Analysts to gather and validate requirements
• Ensure documentation meets quality, style, legal, and regulatory standards
• Publish and maintain documentation in learning management and governance tools

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer or in a communications-focused role
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Business, or a technical discipline (or additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree)

• Knowledge of call center operations, claims processing, enrollment, or billing workflows
