Join as a Hardware Engineer to support client's hardware products, focusing on failure analysis, issue debugging, and in-depth investigations across servers and networking equipment. Your insights will improve product reliability and quality for engineering and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Investigate hardware failures during development or production to identify root causes and propose solutions
- Support corrective action implementation
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, transferring products from R&D to manufacturing
- Translate engineering specifications into operational guidance and support ramp-up through documentation and troubleshooting
- Produce detailed reports on test outcomes, debug findings, and engineering support activities
- Maintain thorough documentation for traceability and future reference
- Provide hands-on technical support for cross-functional teams in hardware-related issues during testing or production runs
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of deliverables
Requirements
- Working knowledge of server systems, including hardware components and diagnostic procedures
- Familiarity with network switches, power distribution systems, and personal computing devices
- Ability to assist in integration or troubleshooting of network switches, power distribution systems, and personal computing devices
- Understanding of computer hardware architecture, including experience applying concepts like PCI-e, USB, and system buses in test or debug scenarios
- Proficient with test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), and soldering/rework equipment
- Experience applying test and measurement tools in lab or production environments
- Experience working with or troubleshooting management protocols (e.g., Redfish, IPMI) during validation or issue resolution
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite for documenting procedures, reporting test results, and communicating technical findings
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose corrective actions
- Clear and concise technical communication skills for both documentation and team collaboration
