About This Role

Facilitate the Hannaford To Go service by assigning tasks to associates, ensuring efficient order handling, and maintaining high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and established procedures
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance
• Assign fixed activities to Hannaford to Go associates during idle periods
• Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect
• Assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision
• Ensure that return-to-stock items are handled promptly with immediate attention given to refrigerated and other perishable items
• Support and comply with all company safety standards
• Bag or package merchandise according to established company policies and procedures
• Control excessive use of store supplies
• Assist in prompt cleanup of spills and breakage

Requirements

• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions (18 years of age)
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
• Demonstrated ability to perform the technical requirements for Hannaford to Go Service
• Ability to lead and coach others
• Demonstrates strong Leadership Skills

Nice to Have

• Promote customer goodwill by providing high standards in customer service
• Manager customer's on-line orders and maintain effective work schedules for Hannaford to Go associates
• Provide feedback to store leadership on any HTG operational issues
• Proactively partner with Department Managers to ensure fresh orders are handled properly
• Assist customers picking up orders at designated pickup location
• Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested and log as required
• Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies pertaining to the acceptance of checks, and the sale of tobacco/alcoholic beverages
• Provide customers and associates with refunds, over-rings and other transactions requiring approvals or overrides
• Supervise performance of all duties and responsibilities of all Hannaford to Go associates
